Challenge and Solution
Consumers, especially children and young adults, often prefer convenient junk food to traditional pulses. The startup makes rajmash more attractive through familiar snack and confectionery formats made with natural, clean-label ingredients.
Growth and Milestones
The team refined formulation, taste, texture, shelf life, packaging, and consumer acceptance through repeated trials. It developed what the proforma describes as the world's first rajmash jam, expanded the product portfolio, completed small-batch validation, and participated in exhibitions, startup programs, and pitch competitions.
Impact
The venture promotes healthier food choices, adds value to local crops, aims to improve farmer income and reduce post-harvest loss, and supports rural and women-led entrepreneurship.
Future Plans
