Overview

Me Sense is an affordable IoT-based poultry monitoring system that tracks temperature, humidity, air quality, and ammonia levels in real time. It sends farm-condition data and alerts to a mobile application so farmers can intervene early.

Mission

Provide an affordable smart-farm monitoring system that protects poultry health by detecting environmental stress.

Challenge and Solution

High stocking densities can reduce egg production, impair growth, and increase disease risk. Me Sense continuously monitors poultry-house conditions and sends real-time alerts that support timely corrective action.

Development Strategy

The team selected cost-effective, reliable sensors, refined multiple prototypes for different farm conditions, and used DST and university support to validate the technology and improve the business model.

Milestones and Impact

The proforma reports market traction with 1,000 customers and 150 happy consumers in Jammu and Kashmir. The system is intended to improve bird health and productivity while reducing disease risk and economic loss.

Future Plans

Complete commercialization, expand adoption across poultry farms, integrate AI-based predictive monitoring, and make the system accessible to farmers nationwide.
